The new Tank Girl comics are SHITE!!! I'm really sorry, Alan Martin, but Jamie Hewlett WAS Tank Girl. This new twat doing the drawing only illustrates one thing: how shitty the writing is. I wanted to cry (...well, no not really) while reading that crud. Where were the random a'splosions?! Why is she decked in civvies? THAT IS NOT THE GIRL U WANT! Boycott the new Tank Girl! Shit shite shit!
I also read the newest Dini 'Tec. Totally awesome. I was afraid when last month came out that Dini's run on Detective Comics was over and we got a pud new team. Lucky I was wrong! Interesting that Joker's leg is busted from getting run over by an SUV or whatever it was (can't find the issue at this time) -- remember when Gordon shot his kneecap off and Joker only used a cane for one issue, then never was it mentioned again? I mean, I can understand that one time Batman basically let Joker die (A Death in the Family -- after Joker killed Robin) and Joker was missing for about a full year completely and THEN showed up (and in meek form too), but getting kneecapped and just brushing it off... that's Lobo or Wolverine type healing powers.
+ I got my next EC Archives collection today -- Two Fisted Tales. Will review when I read it.
