I was possibly the last person to get out of the Marriott WTC alive, moments before the tower fell. I am a wheelchair user so my escape was a little more complex than some. Thank you for recognizing the heroes of that whole awful day. A police officer is the only reason I'm here and a firefighter is directly responsible for my mother surviving. On a day that displayed the very worst humanity has to offer we were blessed to encounter the very best of humankind. Your movie moved me tremendously and does a fabulous job of crystallizing the many emotions that so many felt and continue to feel.

A very moving "short story" you put together. I have visited the site in N.Y.C. three times since 9/11 and am astonished at how resilient a people we Americans are. No other country in the world could have had this happen and have the citizens of that country come together as we have. I am a volunteer firefighter in Ashburn, VA and agree with you that all of the members of FDNY are heroes, those that survived, as well as those that perished, on that tragic day. God Bless this country and everything good that it stands for.

As a Canadian I am proud to be a neighbor . I always change my computer desktop for an event, or remembranc, holiday, etc. As I was looking for 9-11 remembrance wallpaper I came across your site. It made me shiver, cry, and made me realize that the emotions of last year are still very present. I have seen this mini movie briefly on television. I just wanted to commend you on your slideshow presentation. It was done with such pride and dignity! I have to admit - I shed some tears while watching it, but they were tears of encouragement...not tears of sadness or discouragement like they have been since 9-11. You should be extremely proud of your work. It exemplifies what so many other Americans have been feeling since the horrific attack! THANK YOU for your inspiration and may God bless you!!
