my name is brittany and i am 12 years old. i live in NJ . when i first heard about NYC i cried my eyes out so hard i could barely breathe, so i decided to do something about it.. i am making things with my friends and selling them to raise money for the wtc... and my friends and i are putting on a play the money from the tickets and donating that also. ppl keep asking how i will get it there... well my best friends dad works at the wtc... george... he was off that day. thank god.. 15 of his friends died before his eyes or on that day, so we are giving the money to him to give to the wtc. i am an "army brat" so my page shows it http://www.geocities.com/jerzyguly89/kbspage

I just wanted you to know how moving your movie was!! It was not long, but short enough to stir emotions.
My youngest son enlisted in the Army Reserves in August, and even though I was so proud of him, I still had doubts in the back of my mind. But as time came near for him to leave for boot camp, the chaos began.
Even though I was more frightened for him to go, I feel like it was supposed to be. I asked if he had regrets and he said No! From that moment on, I turned to the one I always turn to in time of need, and said God let your will be done, I know that he is in your hands. I have prayed more now than I ever have in my whole life and not once since my son left have I been afraid for him. I am so proud of him and I feel like each person that serves our country is like my son.
Thank God Rob for your talents and for sharing them with the world. If anyone in America today cannot feel the freedom, love and fellowship that we have in this country, then they don't belong here. Thanks again for opening my mind to this and for taking the time to share it with us.
God Bless you and America! Please pray for our leaders, soldiers and volunteers, as well as our fellow Americans. We need each other now more than ever.

My heart goes out to all the families and friends of those lost in this horrible tragedy. In time their pain will be eased but we will never ever forget the date of 11 September,2001 and we will always remember the innocent lives that were lost on that day. In my heart they are all the HEROS of this terrible tragedy.
My hope is that the renewed patriotism and concern for our fellow man is never extinguished and that we will all take the time to smile at a stranger and hug your loved ones a little tighter.

I even think we should have individual towns responsible for weeding out those not here in this country legally.

Just shy of a month after the attacks, I received the link to your site. This is the most powerful and moving portrayal of the United States I have yet seen. Showing how diverse we are and at the same time how the entire country rallied around our leaders whether they be
conservative or liberal. As we enter the fourth day of attacks on the Taliban, there are many fears of the "holy war" certain Muslims are trying to enrage in all of the Muslims worldwide. There are millions of Muslims in the United States. They don't all (in fact very few think
that way). Most of the Taliban are non-Afghan Arabs who have been exiled from their countries for fear of being put to death for plotting to overthrow their governments. It's no wonder they don't care if they die, if they lose and their lives are spared, they can't go home anyway. To give people hope in case a "holy war" erupts with the world vs. Muslim nations read the following:

For a nation such as Iraq, Iran or Syria to actually contemplate war with the West, they must first size up their economies.... According to the CIA World Fact Book for the year 2000...
Afghanistan's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) is $21 billion (a good deal of which is the drug trade).
Iran = 413 billion
Iraq = 57 billion
Syria = 51 billion
Libya = 45 billion
For a total of 566 billion.
The United States GDP is $9.963 TRILLION (9,963 billion) and change. That's not even counting in Japan, Russia, and the European Union, India (who hates muslims and significantly outnumbers them), Canada, Australia, and the greatest warring nation in the world - ISRAEL. (Israel has been at constant war with all the Arab countries and hasn't
lost one, Divine intervention is my belief). The US ALONE is capable of carrying on a sustained war on 8% of it's GDP (we did nearly 20% in WWII). At eight percent, we could outspend the combined forces above by 131 BILLION DOLLARS and still not really impact
our economy. They, on the other hand, would have to spend their entire GDP on military expenditure (a complete impossibility) and still not be able to touch our capability.
Remember, this is not even counting our allies, our current force structure and the fact that we have the ONLY Blue Water Navy in the World.

Not much of a fight, even if they all show up.
