Sir,
Not only
America has been shocked by this vile act but all the free world
has and we here in Sydney are deeply distreesed by what has happenned
to our friends in the States.
I have
viewed your testimony and your inspiration to your countryment has
touched me deeply.
I can
not tell you how affected by all this I have become and how patriotic
I have become also .I am so sorry that an event like this has to
happen to change our way of thinking.
We have
not been touched by terrorists as you have in the States but that
does not diminish the magnitude and scale of what has happenned.
Thank
you for your inspiration
Best

Dear Rob;
I saw a link on the newyork.com website for your flash movie. I
clicked and was very moved by your presentation. I think that you
have done an outstanding job of encouraging people to pick up their
shattered lives and believe that America will prevail.
Efforts like yours are very moving. I myself have some missing friends,
and my friends in NYC are all affected by missing loved ones, neighbours,
etc. In these times, people need every bit of encouragement they
can get. We are spending our time donating money, goods and blood
to help the survivors and families of the missing.
I was inspired by your movie, and I just wanted to say thanks for
your movie and I've forwarded your url to some other friends with
an inspirational note.
Thanks and Best Regards,
Simon

Hallo
Rob, vielen Dank für die schönen Bilder. Wiedereinmal,

(Hello
Rob, thank you for the beautiful pictures. in these days for me
the tears like so often came. Until today I cannot seize it, which
occurred there on 11-September. I can hardly concentrate on my job
and the daily functions. The television runs almost 20 hours on
the day daily looks I on newyork.com around something new to experience.
Here I have to be somewhat closer the feeling that new Yorkern and
Americans. Today I found the note to your page and am pleased that
I had looked at her. Many feel as you and I. That will remain!!
The terrorists billed themselves, the world come out strengthened
from it and move closely together.

I am sitting here crying at the beautiful pictures you put on your
site. This was wonderful. They really should show it on tv. Thanks
for giving me strength to try to put my life back together. This was
the most horrible thing I have ever witnessed. My family, like everyone
else in the nation is devastated. I will keep praying. God Bless America.

Dear
Rob,
I´ve found your link at the newyork homepage. This movie shows
so much hope - it´s wonderful. As long as people all over the
world will stand together, hope and pray for each longer terrorism
will never reach it´s goal.
Thank you for bringing hope to us!

Just
wanted you to know the page is OUTSTANDING, I am sending a link
around. And yes, I contributed. Allow me to share with you something
I wrote last night, I hope you enjoy.
Unsung Heroes
Amidst
the pile of rubble he stood, his pain so very deep
Trying to make sense, if at all he could
Out of the smoldering heap
Time
was of the essence, the victims couldn't wait
How could such devastation be wrought
By those who chose to hate?
As
sadness and anger took it's hold, he knew full well the cost
Yet he buried himself in the task at hand
So many lives already lost
Pillars
of smoke rose high and thick, as the mighty towers fell
Was he still on American soil?
Or was he now in Hell?
A
flag was soon erected, as heads were gravely bowed
One, this day, in pain and prayer
Justice, we have vowed
Silently,
he wiped a tear, and shouted toward the sky
"Although we may be heartbroken....
Our spirit will never die!!"
And
then he looked around him, in amazement and utter shock
Although the hours were still untold
They'd work around the clock
From
all walks of life they came, without hesitation to answer the call
And he stood and quietly saluted the crowd
Unsung heroes...one and all

hey
rob,
i am in sincere awe at what you have constructed. You have created
such an inspirational collection of the heartbreaking events that
have been done to us....but more importantly you, perhaps unkowingly,
have pulled together the unity in which our country needs in order
to survive. It is unfortunate that what happened on September 11,
2001 is what's bringing America together...but it's extremely comforting
to know that whoever we are and whatever happens, WE stand united,
strong, and proud in our leaders and in ourselves...

I
just wanted to thank you for creating such a wonderful work of art
to express what America is all about. It really struck a chord in
my heart because my father is a paramedic. He is also a volunteer
firefighter. To see the pain in his eyes because he is one of the
few people in this country who really understands what it means
to lose a fellow worker, not to mention many; that is something
I wish I never would have to see in any emergency service providers
eyes. The most heroic thing, though, is the way he and others at
this time value their job more than any other. Watching programs
such as 60 Minutes, all these rescue workers are saying that this
doesn't make them want to quit. It makes them want to work harder
than ever before. My father is one of them. More than anything,
he wishes he could be there right now. My family is in the Midwest,
but he knows a couple of firefighters in New York, and they are
still missing. This has affected everyone, and your video does a
wonderful job of expressing American's emotions. I can no longer
sing the "Star Spangled Banner" without tears coming from
my eyes. "God Bless the USA" was something I could not
finish playing in band the other day, for I was crying for lives
lost, for the damage done, but more for the thankfulness that the
country I live in is America, land of opportunity and freedom. Thank
you so much.

P.S.-I
don't know if you were wanting to expand your site, but if so I
think the poem below would be appropriate. Unfortunately, I do not
know the author. Thanks!
The
Fireman's Prayer
When
I am called to duty, God,
wherever flames may rage,
give me the strength to save some life
whatever be its age.
Help me embrace a little child
before it is too late.
or save an older person
from the horror of that fate.
Enable me to be alert
and hear the weakest shout
quickly and efficiently
to put the fire out.
I want to fill my calling
and to give the best in me
to guard my every neighbor
and protect his property.
And if according to you will I have
to lose my life, please bless with
your protecting hand my children
and my wife.

Dear
Rob,
Thank
you for the time and effort you put into this presentation. My nephew
in Denver sent it to me - it is beautiful - gave me chills of connection.
In
addition to forwarding it to all my friends and associates, I hope
that you don't mind that I took the liberty of sending it to the
local news media too.

I
am making a personal journal of all the events and happenings of the

I will become a history teacher. As a matter of fact, I was in one

College. Thanks,

Dear
Rob,
I was
very impressed after watching your flash movie. It demonstrates
that terror and evil will never win as long as the world stands
together.
I am
from Berlin, Germany and I would like to tell you and the american
people that Germany supports you with all it's got.
On Friday,
Sept. 14th more than 200.000 people gathered at the Brandenburg
Gate, Berlin's symbol for freedom and understanding to share their
feelings of sadness.
In the
last few weeks, the world moved closer together, leaving them who
support terrorism outside.

Hi
there,
Just happened across your site and I am deeply moved ! I am a South
African so am physically far removed from all this heartache. My
heart, however, goes out to all people that have suffered inconceivable
pain and anguish. The world, I think, feels the same.
Well done for brining perhaps some hope to the people of America.
Regards,
Lauren
